Beauty and the Beast by Rachel Esterline

The second theme in the 52 Week Photo Challenge is called “My Front Door.” And, the first thing you’ll see when you walk through the door at my house are shoes. Lots of them. I have a tendency to find them on sale at Kohl’s or occasionally pick up a cute pair marked down at Marshall’s. And, who can say no to a pair of cute, decently priced shoes?

I contrasted my pair of hot pink stilettos with Jeremy’s Tractor Supply Co. work boots. The stilettos were a gift from Lindsay Allen, a friend and former coworker. She says they were on sale so cheap, so she had to buy them. They happen to be one of my favorite pairs of shoes. But, I really can only wear them if I’m not going to be walking much.
